Hi, my name is Clare, I am the proud owner of The Glam Pooch Grooming Parlour - Firstly, thank you for visiting my website and I'd like to tell you a little bit about me.  I was originally trained to groom dogs by the amazing Julie Lalou (Julie Lalou - Dogs Delight London | StarGroomers)  back in the late noughties.  Julie was and still is the most talented dog groomer & teacher - I will never forget my time working alongside her at Dogs Delight in Chiswick, North London.   After I passed my intensive grooming course, I set up and ran my first dog grooming business (Perfect Paws) from my garage at home in North London.  Unfortunately after the life changing event of losing my Dad in my early 20's, everything shifted for me, I left London and started a new life in Suffolk where I worked mostly in the NHS.
My passion for dogs and dog grooming never left me and after an amazing opportunity to start my own salon again - I jumped at the chance, The Glam Pooch was born and I have never looked back! 
I am a passionate animal lover and have owned dogs and horses for over 30 years - I could not live without them!
